Abstract:Introduction: Cardiac disorders are common in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). They worsen shortness of breath and physical capacity and reduce the quality of life. Ultrasound assessment of cardiac function could contribute to assessing the severity of the disease.
