Abstract: El género Echeveria agrupa varias especies de plantas suculentas presentes en ambientes diversos, se encuentran en hábitats con sue-los rocosos de poca profundidad, pendientes pronunciadas, cañones y rocas. Prácticamente todas las especies del género presentan interés económico, como plantas ornamentales, siendo comunes en colecciones de Crassulaceae.
