Eccrine Porocarcinoma: Avoiding Diagnostic Delay

Abstract: Skin cancer is the most common cancer within the United States. Reports estimate that 1 in 5 Americans will develop some form of skin cancer. Eccrine porocarcinoma is a rare type of skin cancer of sweat gland origin. Eccrine porocarcinoma is most commonly found on the lower extremities.
