“….6 eV and 952.3 eV with a separation of 19.7 eV, which is consistent with previous reports for Cu2+ in CuSbS 2 . XPS analysis of CuSbS 2 thin lms by solution processing and spin coating were reported by Yang et al and McCarthy et al observed the similar B.E for Cu2p peaks 9,37. The 3d core level spectra of antimony observed at 530.43 eV (3d 5/2 ) and 539.82 eV (3d 3/2 ) with a separation of 9.39 eV match with CuSbS 2 phase as reported earlier 29.…”

“…The peak splitting with 19.9 eV has been attributed to the Cu + ion [29]. Figure 2c [31], as per the reported data. Therefore, it is further confirmed that the prepared CuSbS 2 nanoparticles have without any other impurity phase, which is consistent with the result of XRD.…”

“…The Raman spectrum from CuSbS 2 single crystal exhibited peaks at 141, 247, and 335 cm −1 corresponded to reported values as shown in Figure . The strongest peak that was observed at 335 cm −1 was attributed to A g symmetry, which is Raman active mode . No distinct peaks of Cu 12 Sb 4 S 13 (316 and 355 cm −1 ) and Sb 2 S 3 (270 and 305 cm −1 ) were observed.…”

“…Therefore, a combination of XRD measurements and Raman spectroscopy is useful when investigating the structure and phase purity of quaternary compounds. The Raman spectrum from CuSbS 2 single crystal exhibited peaks at 141, 247, and 335 cm −1 corresponded to reported values as shown in Figure . The strongest peak that was observed at 335 cm −1 was attributed to A g symmetry, which is Raman active mode .…”
