Abstract:Preterm infants often experience frequent intermittent hypoxia (IH) episodes which are associated with neuroinflammation. We tested the hypotheses that early caffeine and/or non‐steroidal inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) confer superior therapeutic benefits for protection against IH‐induced neuroinflammation than late treatment.
