Early prosthetic valve endocarditis caused by Corynebacterium amycolatum: the first case reported in Brazil

Abstract: Non-diphtheriae Corynebacterium species are usually considered as contaminants of clinical specimens due to their widely environmental distribution and colonization of the human skin and mucous membranes.
