Abstract: Purpose Familial exudative vitreoretinopathy (FEVR) is a hereditary blinding vitreoretinopathy characterized by anomalous retinal vascularization. In the early stages, patients are mostly asymptomatic and prone to missed diagnosis because the lesion is located in the peripheral part of the retina.
