Abstract:The aim of this chapter is to promote the role of the nurse and other practitioners in patients’ early mobilisation and exercise after fragility fractures. The importance of early mobilisation and exercise is highlighted, along with practical information on assessment, pain and weight bearing and tips on how to facilitate early mobilisation.
