Eight of the studies with primarily adult samples (Chu, Williams, Harris, Bryant, & Gatt, 2013;Jaycox, Marshall, & Orlando, 2003;Margolin, Vickerman, Oliver, & Gordis, 2010;Margolin et al, 2009;Marshall & Orlando, 2002;Scarpa & Fikretoglu, 2000;Scarpa & Ollendick, 2003;Walling et al, 2011) did not report any psychometric data concerning the measurement of exposure to community violence, and one study (Miller, Grabell, Thomas, Bermann, & GrahamBermann, 2012) only included mothers' perceptions of their children's violence exposure.
