“…Notably, the authors are in support of Malay-CAAS12 when compared to Malay-CAAS24 as fewer items in the instrument reduce the respondent's burden and might increase the completion rate, thus is time saving (Isik et al, 2018). The shorter version is also more userfriendly for younger generation (Generation Z) i.e current university students who are known for their short attention spans (Buzzetto-Hollywood et al, 2021;Opris & Cenusa, 2017), and preferring immediate results, answers, and rewards (Cilliers, 2017;Opris & Cenusa, 2017;Duzenli, 2021).…”

“…One such characteristic is their activism regarding social and political issues. In a recent study of Generation Z, 50 48% had donated to a cause of importance to them and only 22% did not consider themselves as social activists. Tapping into social and political values of this population by creating personalized donation options within a CM reward system may enhance the effectiveness of this treatment in adolescents.…”

“…A core characteristic of Gen Z is a strong commitment and desire to advocate for disadvantaged and disenfranchised groups, particularly those historically marginalized and underserved such as people of color, the queer community, the disabled, and women (Tanaid & Wright, 2019). Motivated by a pursuit of diversity, inclusion, equity, and social justice, this generation of influencers and digital natives can use social media and technology to galvanize a group of like-minded persons on both the local and global scale (Buzzetto-Hollywood, Hill, & Banks, 2021). Fundamental issues this generation is concerned about are women's rights, immigration reform, human trafficking, #MeTooMovement, Black Lives Matter, LGBTQ+, climate change, Gun violence, and DACA (Buzzetto-Hollywood, Hill, & Banks, 2021).…”
