Abstract: Symbiosis between cyanobacteria and plants is considered pivotal for biological nitrogen deposition in terrestrial ecosystems. Despite the large knowledge in the ecology of plant-cyanobacteria symbioses, little is known about the molecular mechanisms involved in the crosstalk between partners.
