Abstract:Background: Neoadjuvant Therapy (NAT) permits less aggressive breast and axillary surgery and better assessment of systemic response. Establishing accurate and early predictors of NAT response would help limit morbidity of ineffective regimens through modification of treatment regimens and thereby optimize clinical outcomes.
