“…There is robust geologic evidence for uplift associated with Nankai earthquakes at Cape Muroto (Iryu et al, 2009;Maemoku, 1988Maemoku, , 2001 and the southern tip of the Kii Peninsula (Shishikura et al, 2008;Shishikura, 2013; locations 1 and 2, respectively, in Figure 1d).
