This study aims to investigate the reality of e-counseling services in the light of digital learning from the perspective of teachers in Jordan. The sample of the study consisted of (348) male and female teachers at Rusaifa Education Directorate in 2021. The scale of the counseling services for this study was created by the researchers, where the validity and reliability of the scale were approved, and the appropriate statistical procedures were used. The study reached some statistical results regarding e-counseling services in the light of digital learning from the perspective of teachers in Jordan. Results revealed that the arithmetic averages of the reality of e-counseling services have an intermediate degree at the overall level, and each dimension has an intermediate degree, too. The prevention dimension took the first place, followed by the social dimension, the moral dimension, the professional dimension, the educational dimension, and lastly, the technical dimension, respectively. The results revealed that there are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α ≤ 0.05) at the overall level. The level of each dimension of the scale is attributed to the variables of gender and one’s years of experience.

Socio-emotional learning (SEL) is essential for the holistic development of a child. It is a process through which individuals acquire and effectively apply their knowledge and skills to understand and manage their own emotions, show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions. Schools function as important bodies in facilitating SEL. The present study explores the school counsellors’ experiences in delivering SEL in Indian schools amidst COVID-19 pandemic. The data collected using semi-structured interviews with ten school counsellors from different cities in India indicated varied conceptual understanding of SEL among counsellors coupled with challenges due to the pandemic, and lack of resources and training on SEL delivery. The results shed light on the inevitable need for SEL and the lack of adequate focus on SEL facilitation and delivery in schools. The study additionally emphasises the need for structural and policy changes to foster positive climate and SEL within the Indian education system. The findings are pertinent for policymakers, school administrators, teachers and counsellors to deliver quality socio-emotional learning programs in schools. Hence the study calls for the need for professional training and support to school counsellor and school mental health professionals.

The use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT, hereafter) has permeated almost every facet of human endeavours. In recent times, the world has seen the massive deployment of diverse technologies to facilitate work processes, and this is the thriving strength of the fourth industrial revolution (4IR). Besides, the recent outbreak of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic exacerbated the situation, as this has led to the discovery of some new technologies in the delivery of goods and services across all sectors, with education as a major beneficiary. However, some educational institutions, Technical and Vocational Education and Training Colleges (TVET, hereafter) inclusive, especially in developing countries remained closed during the lockdown period due to lack of capacity and infrastructure. Hence, this paper taps into the affordances of the multi-stakeholder collaborations framework of the Quadruple Helix Innovation Model to review published articles, policy documents and conference papers among others on possible ways to foster digital inclusion in TVET. Highlights from the review point to the following benefits of multi-stakeholder partnerships namely, collaborative designing and creation of digital policy, access to digital resources and infrastructure, and increased affordability and sustainability of digital inclusion of training programmes. Thus, it was concluded that these highlighted benefits resulting from such collaboration can be translated into the planning and implementation of digital inclusion in TVET.
