Abstract:Moyamoya disease (MMD) is a rare neurovascular disorder which pathologically, is a chronic cerebrovasculopathy. It is characterized by stenosis of the internal carotid artery (ICA) and the main branches within the circle of Willis with consecutive development of collateral vessels.
