Abstract:Pharyngeal dysphagia can be caused by structural abnormalities or neurological disorders such as stroke, meningitis, and other conditions. Herpes zoster (HZ), caused by the varicella-zoster virus (VZV), is a rare cause of pharyngeal dysphagia.
