Dynamics Modeling and Ink Supply Methods of Piezoelectric Ink-jetting Process

Abstract: In view of the piezoelectric ink-jet ink viscosity in the process of the quality of ink-jet droplet trailing, satellite drops and the problem of ink ribbon, a kind of piezoelectric ink jet process dynamics modeling and ink methods is put forward. Based on the fluid volume model (VOF) is established the dynamic model for drops sprayed physical process. Based on this model, the generated drops, fracture, and is used to numerically simulate the process of flight, through the different boundary conditions are set,… Show more

“…The ink supply system is responsible for providing a stable ink flow to the print heads. However, despite filtration, ink may retain air bubbles, which have the potential to impact print head performance and may even result in nozzle clogging [ 66 ]. Therefore, a better-designed ink supply system with improved degassing efficiency ensures not only the normal functioning of inkjet printing but also helps prevent nozzle clogging.…”

“…Droplet ejection 3D printing technology is an additive manufacturing technology that selectively deposits functional inks by controlling the position and ejection status of the nozzles [1]. In the printing process, the volume of ink droplets, the stability and accuracy of the flight trajectory, the control of tailing and satellite droplets are the key factors that determine 3D printing accuracy and printing efficiency [2].…”
