Dynamic Sealing Using Magnetorheological Fluids

Abstract: Micropumps are microfluidic components which are widely used in applications such as chemical analysis, biological sensing and micro-robots. However, one obstacle in developing micropumps is the extremely low efficiency relative to their macro-scale counterparts.
