Dynamic responsiveness of self‐assembling peptide‐based nano‐drug systems

Abstract: Dynamic‐responsive self‐assembly is the process of ordered supramolecular structure formation or reversible decomposition from building blocks. This process is driven by non‐covalent interactions based on complex stimulus‐responsive systems comprising different components within a microenvironment. Furthermore, stimuli‐responsive assembly‐disassembly is an intrinsic interaction process in organisms, indispensable in maintaining life activities and functions. However, the dynamic interactions between dynamicall… Show more

“…Additionally, FPC@S exhibited reduced steric hindrance compared to FPC because of assembly, potentially facilitating further interactions with FN targets. 41 After washing the FN gels with PBS, the absorbance of PpIX in the wash solution was measured. As demonstrated in Figure S7, FPC@S showed much stronger binding than FPC, which exhibited approximately 8.52 times higher detachment.…”

“…3F). 199,236,274,275 Due to the reversible linkages within the networks, the crosslinked hydrogels exhibit low viscosity under shear stress and re-gel rapidly with the removal of stress, and thus these hydrogels are endowed with favorable self-healing and shear-thinning properties. 199 As a result, the dynamic crosslinking maintains the integrity of the hydrogels, and also mechanically protects the encapsulated cells from shear damage during injection.…”

“…Tumor heterogeneity, such as intratumoral heterogeneity and synchronous multifocal tumors with different clones, poses significant challenges for closely monitoring the tumor’s progression and subsequent treatment. , It is commonly manifested by distinct expression levels of specific biomolecules (transcriptome level or proteome level) located in the cytoplasm or cytomembrane, which act as important biomarkers in cancer diagnosis and prognosis . As one of the most widely studied noncoding RNA, micro-RNAs (miRNAs) in cytoplasm dynamically regulate the physiological activities of cancer cells and are closely related to the migration and invasion of various cancers .…”
