“…To observe super-resolution, it is necessary to perform the reconstruction with a matrix whose pixel size is much smaller than that of the detector elements. The existence of super-resolution was verified experimentally with a bar pattern phantom 1, 5 using a commercial digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT) x-ray unit and a commercial prototype reconstruction solution 9 (Briona TM , Real Time Tomography, Villanova, PA).
