Abstract:The metasurface on the back cover (see article number 2101615 by Yosuke Nakata and co‐workers) efficiently converts an incident wave with linear polarization (green) into a reflected one with circular polarization (red/blue). Depending on the connection state (represented by red/blue) of the metallic pattern, the rotation direction of circular polarization is switched. The dynamic control of the connection state is realized by leveraging vanadium dioxide. The device is applicable to highly sensitive terahertz … Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
