Abstract: Actinomycetoma caused by Nocardia brasiliensis induces an inflammatory response with multiple microabscesses and granuloma formation with abundant large cells and mononuclear infiltration. Th1 and Th2 lymphocytes response have been evaluated in N. brasiliensis infection.
