Dynamic Modeling and Vibration Characteristics Analysis of Deep-Groove Ball Bearing, Considering Sliding Effect

Abstract: To study the vibration characteristics of deep-groove ball bearing, considering the influence of sliding, the dynamic model of the DGB 6205 system is established in this paper. The DGB 6205 system model includes the movement of the bearing inner ring in the X and Y directions, the rotation of the cage, the rotation movement of each ball, the revolution movement of each ball and the movement along the radial direction of each ball. Based on the system model, the differential equations of motion of the system ar… Show more

“…During operation, the bearing will be slightly damaged under the action of mechanical load, lubrication deterioration, slip, and other factors, and the damage degree will further increase with the increase of operation time (Liu et al, 2021; Wang and Du, 2022; Li et al, 2021). The vibration signal measurement and performance prediction of the shaft-cylindrical roller-bearing-pedestal system considering damage can effectively ensure the safe operation of the system.…”

“…Under the large eccentricity ratio, the lubrication performance of bearings is reduced by the slip velocity. Li et al [21] established a theoretical model of deep-groove ball bearing, where the radial slip velocity was considered, and the vibration characteristics were analyzed. Feng et al [22] analyzed the static characteristics of local grooves in water-lubricated bearings when the circumferential slip velocity was considered.…”

“…Though the authors have considered distributed defects, they ignored the presence of local defects in their model. Researchers [24][25][26] have established a vibration model to analyze the characteristic frequency for bearing with localized defects but the authors have ignored the effects of damping present in the bearing.…”
