Abstract:The effects of temperature and flow rate are studied analytically and experimentally to develop a proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolyzer with satisfactory performance for use in a regenerative fuel cell system. The dynamic interactions in the electrolyzer are simulated with Simulink ® to include five ancillaries: anode, cathode, membrane, voltage and storage. To validate the analytical polarization curve, the performance of the PEM electrolyzer has been assessed in terms of power, flow rate and temperatur… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
