Abstract:Under thermal environment and axial forces, the dynamic instability of functionally graded graphene platelet (GPLs)-reinforced porous beams on an elastic foundation is investigated. Three modes of porosity distributions and GPL patterns are considered. The governing equations are given by the Hamilton principle. On the basis of the differential quadrature method (DQM), the governing equations are changed into Mathieu–Hill equations, and the main unstable regions of the porous composite beams are studied by the… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
