Abstract: Prognosticating acute lung injury (ALI) is challenging, in part because of a lack of sensitive biomarkers. Hyperpolarized gas magnetic resonance (MR) has unique advantages in pulmonary function measurement and can provide promising biomarkers for the assessment of lung injuries.
