Dynamic Effect of Cushion Part of Wheeled Vehicles on Their Steerability

Abstract: The effect of relative motion of cushion system on dynamic pressure force of steered wheeled vehicles with non-linear elastic characteristics of suspension was evaluated in the article under consideration. The problem is to find the dynamic force of system cushion-non-cushion part pressure on front wheel. The dependence for the limiting value of dynamic turning angle of steered wheels on longitudinal-and-angular oscillations amplitude and parameters describing elastic characteristics of elastic suspension was … Show more

“…Distilled water as a standard test condensate of water or rainwater, saturated solutions of ammonium sulphate and nitrophosphate, mixed liquid manure of cattle and pigs in proportion ½ acted as corrosive environments [1,4,19,20]. Acidity levels of environments before and after the experimental studies were measured by pH meter I-160M.…”

“…Fatigue tests were carried out on the equipment IMA-5. The specimens were loaded by the scheme of rotating bend; cycle asymmetry coefficient was R = −1 [19][20][21][22]. A fast-speed counting device before fracture N fixed the number of cycles.…”

“…In previous work, [4] to ensure safe traffic conditions, which are regulated by international and national rules and standards, the dynamic parameters, in particular, stability and handling of the vehicles were studied. Rather sophisticated models for numerical simulation of vehicle dynamics on an uneven road are known [5][6][7][8][9].…”

“…An adequate level of travel comfort when using public transport in the design of the city's transport network is almost always neglected, especially when transporting the population by public transport in the medium-sized cities, believing that such an indicator as driving time will be the only one that will affect the passengers' choice [18][19].…”
