Abstract

One of the factors affecting cattle productivity is disease. The emergence of an outbreak of foot and mouth disease (FMD) has an impact on the sales and income aspects of farmers, especially farmers. Determination of the sample was carried out by accidental sampling, namely the research location was chosen according to the research objectives. The number of sample breeders is considered to represent a population of 30 farmers. In this study, measuring the income of cattle business in Peusangan District. Based on the analysis of the data obtained from the farmers, the average income and production costs of the cattle business in Peusangan District, Bireuen Regency per year per farmer is Rp. 48.790. and Rp. 37.666,667. The income from the cattle business in Peusangan District, Bireuen Regency is quite profitable with an average income of Rp. 11.082,333/ breeder/ year with an R/C ratio of more than 1.
