Durable Testing and Analysis of a Cleaning Sieve Based on Vibration and Strain Signals

Zheng Ma,
Zelin Zhang,
Zhaohui Zhang
et al.

Abstract: Cleaning is one of the most important steps in the harvesting process, and the prolonged and high-load operation of the vibrating sieve can decrease its reliability. To uncover the structural flaws of the cleaning sieve in the crawler combine harvester and establish a foundation for quality inspection, this paper proposes a method for durability testing and analysis using vibration and strain signals. Via the modal analysis of the cleaning sieve, the most susceptible areas for fault signals are identified. Sub… Show more

“…To assess the efficacy of the proposed method for diagnosing faults in agricultural machinery, this study conducts a comparative analysis with various research methodologies. In reference [25], the focus lies on unveiling structural defects in the cleaning screen of a track-type combine harvester through durability testing and analysis of vibration and strain signals. While significant for enhancing the cleaning screen's service life, this study exclusively explores vibration signals without delving into a comprehensive analysis.…”

“…Due to the complexity of the residual film recycling process, the 1MSF-2.0 residual film recovery machine has numerous moving components, which results in a significant amount of vibrational force. As a result, the machine experiences noticeable vibrations, significantly impacting its reliability and stability during operation [5]. The frame, serving as the installation foundation for the residual film recovery machine, plays a crucial role in bearing and resisting impacts.…”

“…Ahmad et al investigated the free and forced vibration response of laminated composite plates. They combined the first-order shear deformation theory (FSDT) [28] with the finite element method to obtain a steady-state response in the time domain using the Newmark method [29].…”
