“…The usefulness of intra-accession diversity in phenotypically homogeneous genebank preserved landrace accessions when re-introducing such genebank material into on-farm situations was recently demonstrated in lentil which, similar to oat, is a self-pollinating species (Horneburg and Becker 2008).
