Abstract:Duodenal dystrophy is a chronic inflammation of the tissues of the pancreas, ectopic into the wall of the duodenum. Duodenal dystrophy is a variant of the aberrant pancreas. Its most frequent complications are acute or chronic pancreatitis, and a violation of duodenal passability, which, along with severe pain are indications for surgical treatment.
