Dual wavelength multiphoton absorption

Abstract: In this study, we report a new phenomenon of multiphoton polymerization induced by dual wavelength irradiation with femtosecond laser of 515 and 1030 nm. We demonstrated a spatial resolution of 1200 nm from a laser spot of 1020 nm diameter. This is a significant increase in the spatial resolution of about 33 and 58% than the two photon absorption (2PA) and the three photon absorption (3PA) processes, respectively.
