Dual-task and movement: a bibliometric study based on high-impact search engines

Delfina Mas-Mas,
Antonio Francisco Arnau Mollá,
Francisco Javier Romero Naranjo

Abstract: The interest and impact of scientific productions on dual-task and movement in recent years have demonstrated the worldwide relevance of this topic, especially in neuroscience, neurorehabilitation, and cognitive stimulation. Therefore, this research aims to conduct a bibliometric study on the scientific production published on dual-task and movement in high-impact search engines in the last decade, from 2012 to 2022. Once classified and parceled out all the information, screening was carried out, obtaining a f… Show more

“…The aim of this article is to analyze the terminology related to human motor skills and propose the neologism neuromotor skills (neuromotricity) as a concept for the 21st century (Andreu-Cabrera & Romero-Naranjo, 2022). Furthermore, there are three recent publications related to the theme of the BAPNE Method and Neuromotricity that were published in volume 50 in 2023 in the journal Retos (Mas-Mas et al, 2023;Naranjo & Cabrera, 2023). We found that there were 12 articles related to this specific theme published in the journal Retos until 2023.…”

“…And also there's a quite number of studies that have been conducted showing improvement in gait while performing rhythmic activities (Kim et al, 2017b(Kim et al, , 2020Montero-Odasso et al, 2014;Oh Shy et al, 2016;Patel et al, 2014;Schrodt et al, 2004). BAPNE method provides with hundreds of specific and sequenced activities to exercise the dual task through rhythm using various resources of displacement and motor movements (Alonso-Marco & Romero-Naranjo, 2022; Andreu-Cabrera & Romero -Naranjo, 2021; Arnau-Mollá & Romero- Naranjo, 2022aNaranjo, , 2022bGonzález-Sánchez et al, 2021;Mas-Mas, 2023;Romero-Naranjo & Sayago-Martínez, 2021a, 2021bRomero-Naranjo, 2008, 2012, 2013a, 2013b, 2019a, 2019b, 2019c, 2019d, 2019e, 2019f, 2019g, 2019h, 2019i, 2019j, 2020a, 2020b.…”

“…There is an extensive bibliography on this subject in which dual tasks are of great interest (Mas-Mas et al, 2023). On its relationship with cognitive and executive functions there is literature by thematic areas (Romero-Naranjo, 2012, 2013a, 2013bFernández-Molina et al, 2020).…”
