Abstract:Background: Globally, breast cancer (BC) poses a serious public health risk. The disease exhibits a complex heterogeneous etiology and is associated with glycolysis and oxidative phosphorylation (OXPHOS) metabolic reprograming pathways which fuel proliferation and progression.
