“…6A). Higher redox state in presence of P. putida under drought has also been reported by Ghosh 63 . Elevated H 2 O 2 in presence of RAR under control and salinity alone conditions supports the stress mitigation attribute of RAR to keep the nutrient availability high.…”

“…XT13 + Bacillus megaterium XT14 treatments with a decrease of 19.6 % and 24.2 % compared to that obtained with the non-immobilized organisms. These results corroborated those reported by Ghosh et al (2018) recording the highest level in all the redox (ROS molecules and antioxidant enzymes) under hydric stress; inoculation with Pseudomona putida GAP-P45 decreased ROS accumulation and all antioxidant enzyme activities including (APX) in seedlings of A. thaliana significantly ( P < 0.05) in the majority of the analysis points in time condition of water deficit. Based on these findings, we inferred that Guinea grass showed better growth under drought when PGPB were immobilized in macrobeads.…”

“…In this study, we also report the impact of drought stress and PGPB inoculation on compatible osmolytes and activities of enzymatic antioxidants related to the redox status of Guinea grass. To accomplish this objective, proline accumulation and ascorbate peroxidase activity was assayed (Ghosh et al 2018). In such treatments we evidenced that proline decreased and APX increased significantly.…”
