Droplet Autoignition in a Reactive Oxidant/Fuel-Vapor/Inert Environment

Abstract: The effects of one-step reaction orders have been studied on the ignitability of a fuel droplet in a fuellean, oxidant-lean, and both fuel-and oxidant-lean environments with nite ame location. The matched asymptotic analysis of large activation energy is employed with the Arrhenius kinetics and arbitrary fuel and oxidizer reaction orders.
