Abstract: Drowsy driving detection is crucial for avoiding serious traffic accidents. Changes in sleep conditions affect the autonomic nervous system (ANS) and, subsequently, heart rate variability (HRV), which is fluctuation in the R-R interval (RRI) in an electrocardiogram (ECG).
