Drive Coupling With Elastic Rods of Circular Cross-Section: Calculation of Parameters Determining Its Dimensions

Abstract

A method is proposed that allows calculating the main parameters that determine the overall dimensions of the coupling, based on a given value of torsional stiffness, transmitted torque, the selected material of the rods and their diameter. At the same time, their strength is ensured.
