Abstract:Purpose
Recurrent malignant ascites, and the resulting need for repeated drainage are frequent problems in oncology. A source of discomfort for the patient, unscheduled hospitalizations and emergency room visits, recurrent ascites generate multiple constraints for patients and complications in their care pathway.
