The source of the river is located on latitude 05`26`N and on longitude 07`02`E [27] reported that the Otamiri River has maximum average flow of 10.7m 3 /s in the rainy season (September -October) and a minimum average flow of about 3.4 m 3 /s in the dry season (November-February).
