Abstract:A novel tri-band rat race coupler has been proposed and designed by using novel TSITs. A microstrip 3-dB rat race coupler operating at 1.5/3.5/5.5 GHz is fabricated and experimentally verified. Good agreements are observed between the simulated and measured results. In addition, the proposed TSIT can also be used to design a tri-band 3-dB Wilkinson power divider.
