'Dragon' MNEs 4 (Mathews, 2017) as well as 'springboard' MNEs (Luo & Tung, 2018) are growing both in size and importance on the global economic stage by developing and deploying non-traditional firmspecific advantages (FSAs), including DCs (i.e., FSAs reflecting more than extant resource bundles, to include the continuous and systemic recombining of these with new resources) that in turn enable them to better leverage their country-specific advantages (CSAs) during internationalization (Bhaumik, Driffield, & Zhou, 2016).
