Abstract

The short commentary article published in the Febniary issue of Pediatrics was a condensation of a larger work, and several references were deleted from the original work. No reference to health conditions of Eskimos could be made without quoting from investigations by Otto Schaefer. Unfortunately, a mistake was made in the deletion of one of Dr. Schaefer's publications, as he has pointed out. Our point about breast-feeding arises from our own observations in this Zone.
