Doxorubicin Cardiotoxicity in Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia: Possible Protective Role of Grape Seed Extract Proanthocyanidins

Abstract: Aim: To evaluate early doxorubicin (DOX) cardiotoxicity in asymptomatic leukemic patients and to explore whether Grape seed extract (GSE) proanthocyanidins would prevent the DOX-induced cardiotoxicity.
