Abstract:Isoproterenol (ISO) induces myocardial injuries in the form of ischemia and infarction (MI). Simvastatin (SIM) is a lipid-soluble inhibitor of hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl coenzyme A reductase with multiple reported therapeutic benefits.
