Double Hypernuclei Experiment with Hybrid Emulsion Method at J-PARC

Abstract: We are planning an emulsion-counter hybrid experiment to search for double hypernuclei via the (K − , K + ) reaction. We performed a test experiment to investigate the p-bar beam profile and intensity for the alignment method using the pattern matching. Moreover, a test of emulsion exposure was also performed. Although the intensity of the 0.6 GeV/c p-bar beam is not enough, the result of emulsion exposure implies that it is possible to use the 1.8 GeV/c p-bar beam for the pattern matching.
