Abstract:We are planning an emulsion-counter hybrid experiment to search for double hypernuclei via the (K − , K + ) reaction. We performed a test experiment to investigate the p-bar beam profile and intensity for the alignment method using the pattern matching. Moreover, a test of emulsion exposure was also performed. Although the intensity of the 0.6 GeV/c p-bar beam is not enough, the result of emulsion exposure implies that it is possible to use the 1.8 GeV/c p-bar beam for the pattern matching.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
