Abstract:In OFDM systems, mobility induced Doppler spreading distorts the orthogonality among the subcarriers, and results in intercarrier interference (ICI) which degrades the reception quality. In this paper, we investigate how ICI can be mitigated by using multiple receive antennas. In this context, by using Taylor series approximation of the time-varying channels, we derive minimum mean-squared error (MMSE) linear combining scheme for Doppler compensation. Motivated by lower complexity, we develop new combining sch… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
