“…We prioritized education using live instructor-led training with small group demonstrations and video-based instructions for learning donning and doffing PPE. 10 11 Face-to-face training may reduce errors but increases staff exposure risk. Video training involves less time and may be a more resource-efficient method.…”

“…Adequate training and frequent monitoring of HCW during donning and doffing, can limit the transmission of infection, by reducing deviations from ideal techniques. 8,9,11 Also, it is necessary to obtain frequent data regarding the facilitators (like fit with PPE) for improving the compliance, along with barriers like fogging, perspiration as evaluated in a recent questionnaire based study. 25 Doffing zone needs extra monitoring by "dofficer" in real time, in order to ensure appropriate disposal of used PPE in compliance with the established standard operating procedures (SOPs) in that particular facility.…”

“…7 This could be ensured with the help of audible alarms or music for a requisite duration (20 seconds) after pressing the foot operated sanitizer systems. 9 Use of computer simulations ensuring proper sequence of removal of PPE, incorporation of alarm systems in case the sequence is failed and also the use of telecommunication (a supervisor giving instructions to the HCW through audio-visual interface) can ensure safe passage of the HCWs through the doffing zone, with minimal self-and crosscontamination risks. 10,19…”
