Abstract:Resumen: En 1802, Úrsula Villalón, vecina de la ciudad de Santiago, entabló un juicio civil contra su padre Fermín Villalón, con el propósito de recuperar el dominio y propiedad de Marcelina, esclavizada que le fue donada por sus abuelos maternos. El conflicto familiar expone algunos elementos centrales que eran parte de la esclavitud urbana y doméstica, y da pistas sobre el mercado esclavista local de la ciudad de Santiago de Chile colonial.
