Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the content of prenatal training on websites. Content analysis technique, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the study. In this research, 3 basic themes were reached regarding the ability of websites to influence/persuade individuals. These are the presentation of the websites themselves, the presentation of the service, and indicators to demonstrate its reliability. When the web pages are examined, the profession of the trainers is not specified in 15.9% of the sites that give information about birth preparation education. 28.9% of them stated that they were a multidisciplinary team and 55.2% were the only educators/alone. In multidisciplinary team of the trainers, 80% are doctors, 40% midwives, 35% birth coach/doula, 25% psychologists, 20% pilates/yoga specialist, 15% nurse academic, 15% were physiotherapists, and 15% dieticians. "Online Pregnancy School" program prepared by the Ministry of Health should be announced more and official health institutions should be increase for antenatal training for choosing the right educational resources.
